Axiomatic - Product Showcase

Context:

Axiomatic wanted to feature an exciting video showcasing the capabilities of some of their new automation products for BAUMA 2025 in Munich. They identified ten products they wanted to include in the video, with the goal of highlighting key features and functionality in a visually engaging way.

Method:

The client did not have any established style or brand guides available, so I referred to their website as a departure point for colors, typography, and imagery. By inspecting the website's HTML, I identified that they frequently used Poppins as their primary typeface and extracted the HEX values for their blue and green brand colors. These elements provided a foundation for maintaining a cohesive visual identity throughout the video.

Design Process:

Given that the client wanted to feature ten different products, I began by creating a mockup animation for one product, approximately 25 seconds in length. This allowed the client to review and approve the timing, layout, and graphics before applying the same approach to the remaining products. Since 3D rendering is a time-intensive process, ensuring alignment on the initial concept was crucial before moving forward with the full production.

To maintain accuracy across all products, I also created an InDesign PDF document to track each product’s features, descriptions, and product codes, ensuring consistency and clarity throughout the project.

Solution:

Fortunately, the engineering team provided existing 3D models of their devices, which streamlined the workflow. My role involved optimizing materials, adding textures, and animating each product within Cinema 4D. Once animations were completed, I exported them as PNG sequences and imported them into After Effects for post-production. This stage included adding Axiomatic’s mission statement, product descriptions, branding elements, interstitials, transitions, and other visual effects to create a polished final video.

The completed video runs approximately four minutes, delivering a compelling and informative showcase of Axiomatic’s products. As a bonus, I also created an additional video featuring dynamic camera views of the products, providing the client with additional marketing assets for various promotional purposes.
